Indeed. Quite a time lapse, if you ask me: 1928 -- 1967!
We have discussed with Jones, elsewhere, this other book where Carnap mentions the "pirots". This was translated to English soon enough! --

By Countess Zeppelin. "Logical Syntax of Language", rather than of course the earlier monumental, which had to await a few more years for a translation, "Logical structure of the WORLD", rather.
