I have, elsewhere, this Club, analysed the wiki entry for chimp language. The problem with chimps is that while their teeth are big (and they are dangerous animals, on the whole) their VOCAL activities are narrowly reduced. They manipulate FINGERS and hands better than mouth.
Chimp language is non-verbal, yet complex.
