Pdf4me: Grice

Club members may want to spend some time at the link below checking different pdf stuff on Grice. The bother with pdf stuff is that you cannot do one of my favourite internet activities with them: copy and paste. But hey, one can allso learn. I write "allso" as I do, since I do believe it is a variation on "all" and "so", no?

Cheers.

  1. Try again JL.
The PDFs which don't work with copy and paste are the ones which are basically bit maps obtained by scanning some hard copy.
But all the Griceian documents I looked at on the page you refer to are not obtained by scanning, and you can copy text from them (at least using the Adobe pdf reader on Linux).

They do have a lot of pdfs on Grice there.

  2. Thanks!

Yes. That "Do the right thing!" pdf from the 1996 American Association of Computational Science (or something) sounded interesting and I wrote a blog post about it with the correct quotation.

I should revise the other materials and provide separate entries. And so on.

Nice to learn I CAN do some copy and paste.
