Miss Implicatura

"Implicatura", whatever the gender in English, is definitely _feminine_ as used by Sidonius (Loeb Classical Library, The Epistles of Sidonius):

I love your little entanglements.

(implicaturis).

There are many words which sound so definitely gendered in the original Latin. I wouldn´t mind, but what I do mind is the use of "it". Implicatura an "it"? Why is it that even a thing like English dropped gender distinctions it´s "IT" that a lovely thing like implicatura gets?
