There is an online site which aims at wit, called Thales's Caffee. The idea is 'philosophy', for Thales first saw it when he said,
"Water".
Grice disliked the hypocrisy of Putnam. "You are too formal", Putnam told Grice. But "he was more formal than I was. Go figure" Grice comments.
J. M. Geary, who works for the repairing of air-conditioners, tried to explain this to me:

"But aren't they all H20 -- i.e. 'water'"
He replied, "Twater".
