Grice, "Basic Pirotese" -- in "Grice Archive", Carton 9

---- This relates to "How pirots karulize elatically: some simpler ways". The idea that this is basic -- not English -- alla Ogden, but pirotese.

The basic pirotese includes the idea of an obble which is cotched or potched by a pirot (i.e. cognised, or more primitively, perceived) as having a feature. Even two obbles may be cotched as being f-id one another. Etc.

Grice found this a way to progress to rational psychology from basic statements of ascription of attitudes to 'creatures' which are easily operated on.
