Kneale's review of Broad's McTaggart's book for Mind 1939 -- immediate antecedent for Grice 1941

In this review, Kneale, of Oxford, explicitly refers to Broad's "logical construction theory" of self -- versus its two alternatives: the disguised description theory and the pure ego theory. Kneale, like Broad, and like anyone civilised then, chose the logical construction theory.
