Chapman repeatedly emphasises Grice's "cavalier attitude[s]", p. 140, as for example in this amusing letter Grice (not meant to _amuse_ them) write to Berkeley:
"I hope the essentialness of
my projects is not worth emphasising"
(or words).
On the other hand, there are _roundheads_.
