Refiguring 'phren' and Grice's aspects of reasoning

Speranza

The fifth and last citation the OED gives for 'transf. and fig.' uses of 'schizophrenia' is from The Daily Telegraph, 1969, Oct. 6, 9/5 -- so expect humour!

The citation goes:

"Bristol's Little Theatre
illustrates the same
PROVINCIAL SCHIZOPHRENIA,"

i.e. not the London variety

"with the farce "One for the Pot" next
in the bill after Ibsen's "Master Builder."

--- a double bill if ever there was one!

I hope he was not a pot master builder -- and the one for it!
