In the hands of pirots

I wrote on the margin of my Chapman, p. 154.

"The problem here is that pirots don't have hands".

For she was discussing Grice's 'manual', the "Imannuel", which Chapman _suspects_ *might* be a pun on Kant. Course it is!

And as I have discussed with Ritchie, following Chapman's suggestion too, of Christ too.

For Christ was _the Immanuel_ in the much-loved hymn by that tune.
