Etc. This may seem like confirmatory. But in casual chitchat, the presence of tags like 'you know', "yes, you did". "You did!". "I didn't". "No, you didn't". Is enough to make you wonder what Grice was having in mind when he thought of his, oh so ever economical, maxims!
