--- There is an item in the Grice Archive that reads, "Value sub-systems". What was Grice having in mind? We don't really know.
We hypothesise:
There is a value-system. For a System of Formal Language, there is a satisfactoriness value. A value-system is part of any system. There are two types of satisfactoriness: factive value, and practical value. So when we inquire into the sub-system, we are dealing with 'axiology'. I should contact Nicolai Hartmann, but he is dead.
