There is an item in the Grice Archives entitled, "The Kantian problem", undated. What was the Problem with Kant?
None. So we suggest that Grice is considering what the problem with the post-Kantians was. Grice would lecture on Kant's moral theory at Berkeley, notably with J. Baker, and they would almost write a book with all the notes. This is part of their struggle and pleasure they derived from Kant.
