"pls" or "plz"?

"Wait...people spell things wrong on Twitter? Since when? For the record, is the official character-shortening version of 'please' 'pls' or 'plz'?"

    It's "plz" people didn't start saying pls until 2 years ago but plz has been around since the 90's.

      I used to use plz but ever since 2017 or 2018 I have been using pls because I see more people using that variation

    Pls is comes from British and Plz comes from American slang. So Pls is correct!

    It only makes sense that "pls" is the correct form since there is no "z" in please

      plz is correct although there is no "z" in please. Because when we pronoun "please", "z" sound will appear in the end.

    Hi, in phontecis symbols "please" pronunciation is represented /pliːz/. /i:/ represents a long "i"sound and the /z/ represents a voiced sound of "s", i.e., when the vocal cords vibrate for its production....But all this stuff has to do with the learning and teaching of English among forein students.     I always use plz so I think it's plz. Plus, people have used plz for a long time and only started saying pls recently. So it's plz.

    If we want to speled correctly we say "Pls" cuz word 'Please' don't have 'z'!
