-- The last item but one (in the "Grice Archive" BANC MSS 90/135) is just a paper by Philippa Foot, "Virtues and Vices". Grice loved Foot, and would often quote her. Notably in "Conception of Value" (lecture 2-3). Here it's more vintage Foot. Foot was leading a 'flourishing ethics' in Oxford, and Grice was bound to be interested. I propose that Philippa Foot gets hold of this and help distribute it, and spread the news.
