Grice on "Social Justice": what it means, and what it doesn't
--- No, Grice was no equalitarian, so expect a full analysis of the 'idiocy', "Social justice". Only an individual is just. Justice is social if individuals who agreed rationally on mutual fairness just behave as they should. Grice is opposing, typically, the views of Rawls. No Oxonian philosopher seems to have been happy with Rawls -- why? Well, because they all felt (Flew, Grice, Hare, etc.) that it was Aristotle all over again, but in English, rather than the Greek they were more familiar with!
