Old (Cliftonian) Society
He loved Clifton, but more so, he loved _cricket_ at Clifton, and I LIKE to believe he loved _piano_ more than he loved cricket more than he loved Clifton at Clifton.
Needless to say -- then why say it.
Needless NOT to say, Grice's greatest love, and AT CLIFTON, too, was PHILOSOPHY. I know what I'm talking about. It's only in high-school (as Americans call it) or no other time, that you develop a philosophy, or you don't!
