Ariskant and Plategel

In mh notes to N. E. Allott elsewhere I manage to pun, incomprehensible, on "Ariskant". My marginalia for Chapman, p. 47.

If there's Ariskant, there's Plategel.

Austin and Grice would give joint seminars on Aristotle. I wrote marginally, "Wherewas I would read Plato anyday" (any OTHER day alla Alice's Duchess).

  1. It was good that Bennett and Atlas later popularised Kantotelianism, against any doctrine by Plategel!
