Yet another in our Grice's itinerary. This is of course London, and the connection with Grice being his being F. B. A. 1966, and annual philosophical lecturer in 1971. The British Academy online site is pretty good and contains publication details for this, one of the best lectures Grice ever delivered (Can 34 lectures all be 'best'?)

Yes, "Cumberland House" sounds classy, as does Cumberland. On the other hand, while I'm a Latinist, I don't find "Cumbria" all THAT classy. What's wrong with me?
