---
--- I LEARNED MOST OF WHAT I ever wanted to learn about Oxford ordinary-language philosophy from the preface to Flew's two series, "Logic and Language". These two books are the ONLY ones that a student needs to know what Oxford philosophy is all about. Only later I came across his earlier, "Conceptual analysis" which reprints other gems, too, including Warnock, "Metaphysics in Logic". From a mere footnote in the "Series" books, I learned of Humpty Dumpty as an 'anarchist' and became enamoured to that descript. I became a liberal(ist) --.
Etc.
This below is the long list of his books from wiki. Note that I'm referring to THREE particular titles that make him a Griceian only: "Essays in conceptual analysis" and "Logic and Language (First Series and Second Series).
What we need is a checklist of the ESSAYS he wrote till he left Oxford, after his affiliation with the ONLY college worth desiring to be a Student of: Christ Church. The best college BY FAR in Oxford, from ALL points of view. This coming from a Gricean, who has his heart in St. John's, has nothing to do with it. In fact, Grice's heart was with Corpus Christi, a middle-class college, strong in classics, that was his alma mater.
Etc.
