and wonder what it refers to.
The author claims that Strawson also said it, and quotes Hacker, who knew and knows and shall know. In any case, of course it's Austin as [sic] said it. (And nobody said it wasn't).
In any case, I like the lack of 'comma' after Witters, and the non-enclitic 'is' instead of the 's' in "Moore's".
What I do not like is the "People". It won't be donkeys, right? Grice has it as "Some [... nothing] like Witters, but Moore's my man", which I think flows best.
