KJJ Hintikka,
"Logic of Conversation as a Logic of Dialogue" was commissioned by Grandy/Warner for the PGRICE festschrift. Kasher reprinted it in his book on "Implicature" (Routledge)
Hintikka shows how to reinterpret 3 of Grice's super-maxims
(Quantity, Quality and Relevance) in his game-theoretical
dynamic discourse framework. He argues that the maxims
apply primarily to answers to questions. For example,
Quantity is the requirement that the utterance must be a
full answer to the question.
