--- IN PRIVATE (I think) conversation with Tim W., we played on the idea of 'quantum' pragmatics, and TW does credit Hare in various places.

The idea is that Hare indeed speaks of his clistic and neustic and phrastic and tropic as 'sub-atomic' particles (of logic).

"The difference," Grice comments, "between a sub-atomic real particle and a sub-atomic particle of logic is Hiroshima".
