---- In fact, he wrote "A dictionary of philosophy" but -- is there a difference?
Plus, who NEEDS a dictionary of something as common as philosophy? I do have the book, and find it pretty useless in parts (the cover and the index). Some entries are GOOD and I think he does care to quote Grice in the usual suspect entries: 'implication', 'meaning' and perhaps 'perception'. Etc.
I love a dictionary! (That doesn't mean I care a hoot for what it says, to echo Grice).
