Paul Grice and Paul Drew on courtroom interaction

by JLS
for the GC

PAUL DREW seems to be the expert on this type of "Gricean", shall we say, analysis of courtoom interaction. One of his studies quite discussed in the literature being:

Drew, Paul. 1992.

''Contested evidence in courtroom cross-examination:
The case of a trial for rape''.

In Talk at Work: Interaction in Institutional Settings,

P. Drew and J. Heritage (eds), 470-520. New
York: Cambridge University Press.
