H. P. Grice: Conversational Implicata -- Unfolding Conversation As Rational Co-Operation

The idea of 'unfolding' is meant as a pun (yes, intended!) use of folders in The Grice Collection.

A useful way to quote from the Collection is at the folder level:

e.g.

Grice, H. P. (n.d.). Correspondence with J. F. Bennett, The H. P. Grice Papers, Series IA (The Correspondence of H. P. Grice -- Specific), Carton 1, Folder 1.

As we unfold the folders we perceive Grice's progress in his account of conversational implicata as deriving from a view of conversation as rational co-operation.

There are items which CANNOT be unfolded, because they just don't comprise The Grice Collection.

We can call these the 'unfolders,' and even number them!
