Elsewhere, S. R. Bayne had been arguing, very intelligently, on some syntactic arguments against some reciprocals.
As he notes, the logic of reciprocals is mighty complicated. While there ARE pragmatic factors at play (e.g. "We are brothers" usually implicates, "to each other"), there's the Western Brothers.
These were a 'double act'. They were originally cousins!
