Benjamin, as Searle fails to note, recognises the 'inadequacy' (yet attending baffling truth) of "He remembers his name" versus the 'inadequacy' (with attending falsehood) of "He doesn't remember his name" -- Benjamin is concerned with the logical grammar of 'remember' and 'not forget'
