Next week - Sep 12 - the research project Metaphysical Explanation hosts its second one-day workshop on the project’s theme. 

Time & Place: Department of Philosophy, Linguistics and Theory of Science, University of Gothenburg, room T340, Olof Wijksgatan 6 (“Gamla Hovrätten”), 9.00-18. You are very welcome to attend only some of the talks, but please make sure you arrive and leave during the breaks.

Participants: Alexander Skiles (NYU), Naomi Thompson (Southampton and Gothenburg), Robin Stenwall (Lund and Gothenburg), Anna-Sofia Maurin (Gothenburg), Andrew Brenner (Notre Dame), and Ricki Bliss (Hamburg and Lehigh). Program and abstracts can be found on the workshop-homepage (link below).

Registration: To participate, e-mail me at anna-sofia.maurin@gu.se. Registration is free of charge, but allows us to keep track of the number of participants (it’s a small venue!). Registering also means that you will be sent papers (when applicable), and that you will be notified of any and every scheduling changes. If you want to join the speakers for lunch and/or dinner, you are very welcome to do so (at your own expense). Just let me know when you register!
