M. O. R., as Grice likes to abbreviate "Modified Occam's Razor" is a _semantic_ thing -- a 'regulative principle,' if you must speak Griceianly --. His "Ontological Marxism" is a _metaphysical_ thing. Note that the second part to his WoW (that's Way of Words) he entitles, as a joke, "Semantics and Metaphysics" -- so if you think the two things are unrelated, you've got another thinK coming!
