Dale and Grice on Peirce

A casual remark in a footnote in Dale, Theory of meaning, online:

"Peirce's theory is extremely complicated and his writing is replete with all sorts of unfamiliar technical jargon."

Grice would thoroughly and full-heartedly agree: "crypto-technical"'s the word!
