I once read a favourite book with Grice, The Grove Dictionary of Musicians. It read:
"Pears, Peter -- see under Britten"
This amused me.
The phrase 'under' is often mis-implicated. Consider this from Feyerabend's bio bits in the wiki, that J suggested I should read:
"In 1951, Feyerabend was granted a British Council scholarship to study under Wittgenstein."
