A passage he might have liked. From wiki, 'evolution of cooperation' citing directly from Dawkins:
"we must teach our children altruism, for we cannot expect it to be part of their biological nature."[63]"
--- which belongs to Grice's 'dull' level 1: We are _taught_ to cooperate. Levels 2 and 2 involve why we should cooperate.
Of course I think it's the other way round and the motto is "Teach your _parents_ well"!
