Faith on Grice

Irritating comment by Chapman, p. 11

"He may have been a Christian, but by the time he died he had abandoned any religious faith he may, but then again may no, have held originally"

Stuff and sense!

  1. Grice was FASCINATED by religious denominations: one of his resident aunts was a Catholic! His father was a non-conformist, and Mabel Fenton, his mother, OBVIOUSLY High C. of E.!
