Metabolic expression holds between contradictory events:

--- nonfat-->fat.

but also 'periodic' ("time-spanning", or 'time-consuming' as I prefered to use in my discussion with Armstrong) events -- which can be from contrarily opposed events (being 4 feet tall --> being 5 feet tall).
