Vlaams and Nederlands: Grice Galore

--- Unlike German, Dutch does not Pf- the Pfeifer. It's Piper and thus closer to the Gricean Spirit.

On the whole, it's easy to implicate in the Nederlands, particularly Amsterdam. Seuren, who lives elsewhere, will disimplicate you _on purpose_.

The fun of the Gricean Dutch is their relics of archaisms. I was surprised that they speak of the local zoo as the "deer garden", but you go there, and you see your regular giraffe, and gaoled, too --making the whole idea just a misappropriated "conventional implicature" at worst.
