Grisotto Alla Milanese

I'm trying to translate Grice's Studies in the Way of Words to Dante's.

I have some doubts:

Grice on 'express' (WoW:iii), "To express your belief"

"He expressed his dissatisfaction with the project."

"Ha espresso la sua insoddisfazione per il progetto."

But cfr.

"You need his express consent to use his car."

"Per usare la sua macchina hai bisogno del suo esplicito consenso."

and we are getting closer to the implicature. The Italians won't have that 'x' nonsense. Things have to be operatically singable.

"Some people express anger with their voices, others with their faces."

"Alcuni esprimono la rabbia con la voce, altri con l'espressione del viso."

An "express train" is "direttissimo, treno espresso"

which makes sense seeing that implicatures are only rhetorically qualified as 'short-circuited'.

And your coffee can be 'impressed', too, not just 'espresso'.
